Cumberland Sauce
Our Cumberland sauce combines rich redcurrant with tangy orange zest for a tangy, fruity sauce. The recipe was originally created in the 19th century, and named after the Duke of Cumberland. Today the sauce is ubiquitous in the Cumbria region of England, and is known as a quintessential British condiment. It is perfectly suited with meat and game, and adds zest to biscuits with cheese.
