These teas are all made from the tea plant known as TRI 2043 which has reddish purple leaves and a naturally silver coloured elongated apical bud with an abundance of pubescence
Sterling Silver Stem Tea
This white stem tea comprises the very top part of the stem which is just next to the apical bud and hence the signature abundance of silvery down. White teas receive no processing and only gentle drying of the sun in the early morning. Produced on Ebony gardens estate in Sri Lanka this is a delicate a subtle flavoured cup from a highly renowned Ceylon estate.
