Silver Cloud White Tea - Oodoowera Estate

Silver Cloud white tea is from Namunukula mountain Ceylon where "the heavens touch the Earth" as it is often shrouded in mist and low cloud, tea growing on Namunukula is kept tender by the gentle mists. Silver Cloud tea is collected by expert pickers using a velvet cloth to hold the tea buds; this preserves the characteristic beautiful silvery white fur. The tea is dried gently without any rush to avoid over exposure. Silver Cloud is very delicate has a sweetish background and soft mild taste, like a great wine the flavours linger long on the palate.
