The Dragon's Eye Oolong tea
Oolong means ‘Black Dragon’, as its leaves resemble curled-up black dragons which ‘awaken’ in hot water. Legend has it that Wu Liang was returning one evening after picking tea, when he is eye was caught by a deer and he spent the evening hunting. The next day the leaves had started to blacken. Not wanting to waste the tea, he dried it by heating. The tea was found to have a unique flavour and 'Wu long' or 'Oolong' tea was born.
