Hawaiian Black salt comes from the island of Molakai, and its signature black colour is derived from combing charcoal with the salts, which acts as detoxifier. The salt is produced in natural lava pans, and as the Hawaiian islands are so remote the waters used in the production are crystal clear and pure.
